A little treat...

Okay, so, I know that you're all waiting for the outtake to Fourteen or the next chapter to A Lot.

But, see... there's this thing.  It's called life.  And it kicked me right in the freaking ass around New Year's Day this year.  Took my muse with it, too.

I didn't write much of anything for about three months.  It was killing me.  Seriously.  I felt like a little part of me had died and spent that time mourning for it... (with a boy, but hey, that's not really the point now, is it?)

I tried writing and I hated everything I did write.  Until...

A few days ago.  When I got inspiration for something else and I couldn't not write it.  It was calling to me.  Like Bella's blood to Edward.

You think I'm kidding.

I'm not.

Therefore, I wrote the first chapter.  And then I started the second.  And since I've missed all of you like you wouldn't freaking believe, I've posted the finished chapter as a major thank you for waiting for my ass and being (semi) patient.

BUT FIRST.  Something you must understand.

I want to get a head start on this.  I want to have this almost finished when I start posting for real.  So for now, I'm leaving this first chapter up on my blog and my blog only.  And I won't be updating this for a bit.  I'm gonna do my best to get it finished - as well as work on the last outtake for Fourteen because you all really deserve that one more than anything.

So I'm chaining my muse to my damn ankle and I'm gonna spend some major time writing this and trying to get my life back in order.  I hope you can all forgive me because I seriously do love you oh so freaking much. Seriously.

Yep.  I've been watching Grey's.
